Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
"Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)" means an environmental study comprising of collection of data, prediction of qualitative and quantitative impacts, comparison of alternatives, evaluation of preventive, mitigation and compensatory measures, formulation of environmental management and training plans and monitoring arrangements, and framing of recommendations and such other components as may be prescribed”.
MECPAK will conduct assessments, surveys, analysis and compile the EIA report in accordance with
the guidelines for environmental assessment and sectoral guidelines for environmental assessment.
MECPAK will carry out the Environmental Impact Assessment with its expert team through a proper
methodology of which few steps are given below:
Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE)
"Initial Environmental Examination" means a preliminary environmental review of the reasonably foreseeable qualitative and quantitative impacts on the environment of a proposed project to determine whether it is likely to cause an adverse environmental effect for requiring preparation of an environmental impact assessment.

Environment Management Plan (EMP)
EMP is a site or project specific plan develop to ensure that appropriate environmental management practices are followed during a project’s construction and or operational phase.
EMP is set of mitigation measures to reduce potential environmental hazards associated with business. EMP is developed according to guidelines defined by the federal or provincial environmental protection agency.
MECPAK gives effective EMP to its clients which ensures the application of best practices environmental management to the project; compliance with the legislative requirements; properly managing the environmental
risks associated with the project and provide training to the personals to effective implementation of the EMP.

Environmental compliance audits are useful tools to evaluate an organization’s environmental performance and environmental management practices against legal and other requirements.
Understanding and evaluating compliance is another requirement of ISO 14001, as well as, assisting in risk management and addressing the general due diligence requirements of any organization.
MECPAK has developed and implemented HSE Management System in compliance of OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO EMS 14001:2004. Our Environmental Auditors are able to conduct these environmental compliance audits for organizations.
